Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo, has appointed the former national president of the *then* Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU) Hon. Barr. Titus Nnabuike Akpudo as the Director-General of his campaign organisation.
The unveiling of Titus Akpudo as DG Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo Campaign Organisation which was done during a brief ceremony at the Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo Ultramodern ICT Centre Enugwu-Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area of the state, marked a watershed in Nwankwo's journey to the Red Chambers of the national assembly.
Nwankwo who believes that the choice of Akpudo was right, maintained that the former ASATU national president would deploy his expertise in grassroots politics in his new assignment to ensure that victory is achieved next year.
Akpudo who was a former President-General of Eziowelle community in Idemili-North Local Government Area, a *seasoned* legal luminary and current State Marshal-General of the *Anambra State* Solution Marshals, is expected to bring his knowledge of the grassroots to bear in his new office as Director-General of the campaign committee.
He told journalists that he was grateful that the former Reps member and APGA senatorial candidate found him worthy to head his campaign team even as he assured that the team would penetrate the nooks and crannies of Anambra-Central to sell its candidate to the people.
According to him, Hon. Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo was not new in the system as he believes that the former Reps member had endeared himself to the people through his stewardship at the Green Chambers and his philanthropy in the area.
He emphasized that Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo would change the status quo in Anambra-Central senatorial district because his observations showed that Anambra-Central deserved better representation in the Senate.
Akpudo who expressed confidence in the composition of the campaign team which he said comprised men and women deeply rooted in grassroots politics, made it sufficiently clear that team would do all it takes to deliver Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo as well as ensure his electoral conquest next year.
