Ebelechukwu International School Inaugurates New Campus In Anambra

Multiple award-winning Ebelechukwu International Group of Schools has opened a new campus at Akuzor village Nkpor Idemili-North Local Government Area of Anambra State. 


The two storey building new campus which is the campus 5 of the school and christened Jerusalem Campus would not only provide a conducive and convenient environment for cognitive development but would also be a citadel for vocational education and acquisition of special skills for students from JSS 1 to JSS 3 in cloth-making, weaving, GSM repairs, coding and digital technology and other skills that would be incorporated into their curriculum to better equip them from cradle to face economic challenges in the country. 


It would be recalled that the school recently won a national award at a competition in Lagos state where her students were the cynosure of the said competition. 


The newly inaugurated Jerusalem campus of Ebelechukwu International Group of Schools located at Akuzor village Nkpor, the country home of the Proprietor and Director of the school, Chief Timothy Ebelechukwu Chukwukelu, is expected to bring educational opportunities to the doorsteps of the poor and vulnerable people in the society. 


Speaking during the inaugural ceremony held at the premises of the new campus, Director and Proprietor of Ebelechukwu International Group of Schools Nkpor, Chief Timothy Ebelechukwu Chukwukelu, said that the establishment of the new Jerusalem campus is a further expression of their commitment to providing an environment where children can learn, grow and discover themselves as well as develop the confidence to pursue greatness. 


Chukwukelu who emphasized that they believe that every child is gifted with the needed potentials for stardom at Ebelechukwu International Group of Schools, maintained that their responsibilities as educators were not merely to teach children what to know but to help them discover who they are, what they can become and how they can make meaningful contributions to the society which is why their vision remains " to discover and develop the potentials in every child." 


He said that the motto of the school is " Inspire to Aspire" stressing that education is to inspire children to dream big, to thrive, to excel and to aspire to greater heights. The Director equally added that the name Jerusalem attached to the new campus carries a message of purpose, hope, peace and aspirations reminding one that every meaningful journey begins with a vision, faith and determination to do something that will positively influence generations to come. 


He therefore assured parents that Ebelechukwu International Group of Schools will continue to uphold the standards that have brought the school to limelight which according to him is to continue to invest in children, invest in quality teaching, character formation, innovation, discipline, creativity, technology as well as the total development of every child entrusted to Ebelechukwu International Group of Schools.


According to him, the goal of the institution is not just to raise academically successful children but to also raise responsible, confident, disciplined, compassionate and purpose-driven young people who will become leaders and positive change makers wherever they find themselves after their sojourn at Ebelechukwu International Group of Schools. 


Principal of the new Jerusalem campus, Mr. Victor Chiagozie Orajiaka, in his interview disclosed that the new Jerusalem campus of the school will amongst other numerous opportunities, provide platform for children to acquire hands-on skills in Clothing, Information Technology (IT), Weaving and other skills they will be exposed to, to help them catch up with challenges of the moment. 


Orajiaka who informed that they would be starting the new Jerusalem campus with JSS 1 to JSS 3 students, maintained that they wanted to start training them from the junior level while new innovations are introduced so that when the students graduate at SS3 level, they would be able to survive any situation within and outside the country. 


A parent who identified himself as Pastor Ernest Ekeigwe told this journalist that the motto of Ebelechukwu International Group of Schools which is " Inspire To Aspire" is being practically demonstrated in the school because his children schooled there and some of them are about entering the university to pursue higher education.
