Anambra Election: Peter Obi's Community Accepts Soludo, Rejects Other Candidates

RAYMOND OZOJI reports

Agulu community, the country home of ex-Governor Peter Obi has unconditionally and unanimously accepted the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo and completely rejected candidates of other political parties they described as fake.

The community in one accord on Saturday 1st November this year at St. Peter's church field Agulu, declared that they would not succumb to the whims and caprices of fake contenders in the November 8th governorship contest because Governor Soludo deserved their support which they would show him on Saturday this week.

Prominent stakeholders of Agulu who spoke in unison declared that Agulu community has rallied round Governor Soludo whom they said has transformed Agulu with massive unprecedented road network connecting it to other parts of the state. They were of the opinion that Governor Soludo has nothing to worry about because the entire Agulu community is solidly behind him.

Responding, Governor Soludo said he loves Agulu community and also appreciated the fact that they joined other communities in the state to make a bold and emphatic statement that himself and his deputy would go for a second term in office.

He said that the Agulu Urban Water Scheme is running coupled with other functional water schemes his administration has provided for the people to guarantee access to portable water.

The governor however charged Agulu people to go out and cast their votes for the All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA) because the APGA government is determined to take Anambra State to greater heights.
