Aguluezechukwu Community Congratulates Soludo On His Reelection

RAYMOND OZOJI reports

Aguluezechukwu community in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra state has extended warm felicitations to Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo on his reelection victory.

Chairman Aguluezechukwu Improvement Union Awka branch, who also doubles as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of OC Bravo Global Limited, Arc. Okonkwo Chukwuka Williams, who congratulated the governor on behalf of his community during an exclusive interview with this journalist in Awka, said the contributions of Aguluezechukwu in the reelection of Governor Soludo can not be overemphasized because they ensured that all Aguluezechukwu people in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja and other places returned home to vote Soludo and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Okonkwo who is also an APGA stakeholder in Aguluezechukwu community, said he observed that Anambra citizens have had a breathe of fresh air and wind of change since the Solution government came on board. He said the governor wouldn't have been reelected if he didn't perform in his first term, adding that the governor has done exceedingly well and still very determined to take Anambra state to greater heights even as he encouraged him to redouble his efforts this time.

Okonkwo stated that the Saturday November 8th governorship election was free and fair and there were massive turnout of voters especially in Aguluezechukwu where they ensured Soludo won landslide. He said electoral officials and materials got to polling units very early and that the exercise was smooth in Aguluezechukwu community.

Although he noted that Aguluezechukwu is a beneficiary of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo's developmental governance and transformative leadership, he however reminded the governor of the urgent need to attend to Ngene-Ocha bridge which according to him, has cut off Obofia village from other villages in Aguluezechukwu community.

He said the bridge is very essential and important in connecting the entire Aguluezechukwu community. Though he was cognisant that Governor Soludo had promised them that he would attend to Ngene-Ocha bridge but stressed the need to remind the governor of his promise to Ndi-Aguluezechukwu because Ngene-Ocha bridge is of strategic importance to the community.
