Ikenna Iyiegbu (Ike-Cubana) an illustrious son of Oba community in Idemili-South Local Government Area of Anambra State and ardent stakeholder of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has stated without equivocation that Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo is the only consensus candidate in the forthcoming November 8th gubernatorial poll.
Iyiegbu who spoke with this journalist exclusively, maintained that Soludo would be reelected because there is absolutely no other person contesting against him, adding that other characters are merely chasing the wind.
He explained that Soludo's infrastructural revolution and transformative governance have traversed the 179 communities of Anambra state which Oba, his own community is a beneficiary.
According to him, Governor Soludo recently approved the construction of Umuoji-Oba-Akwu-Ukwu road, a road which he said was very crucial and so central to Idemili-South and Idemili-North Local Government Areas; as construction of the road will help ease traffic congestion in both council areas.
Iyiegbu noted that Oba community has joined other communities in the state to endorse Governor Soludo for another term in office and that the general wave of endorsements across the state portrayed the fact that the entire citizenry have passed a vote of confidence and continuity on him.
Iyiegbu said, " We have only one consensus candidate in Anambra State and that is Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo. We have one consensus party in Oba and that is APGA. It's not as if we don't have other political parties in Oba but they will all vote for Soludo.
Everybody has said Soludo is their consensus candidate and they are coming out en masse on November 8th this year to prove it and to reelect him for him to consolidate and continue with his good works in Anambra state."
