Twenty six year old House of Representatives aspirant for Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo LGAs, on the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC) Amb Ikebunwa Fidelis Lotanna has over the weekend unveiled his legislative agenda for the constituents.
The occasion was also used to inaugurate Group Governance Initiative, a support group aimed at fostering good governance in Nnewi federal constituency.
Speaking at the occasion, the House of Representatives aspirant recalled how he benefitted from Sen Dr Ifeanyi Ubah's philanthropic gesture and goodwill.
Amb Lotanna's twelve legislative and development agenda is aimed at strengthening the auto spare parts ecosystem and supporting small businesses through legislation
Others include; affordable housing scheme for civil servants and small business owners, youth employment and human capital development, establishment of technology hubs and innovation centers.
Amb Lotanna's agenda is also aimed at supporting petty traders, and market women, transforming education through smart and modern schools, expanding access to clean and drinkable water, improved electricity supply through installation of new transformers.
The ADC House of Representatives hopeful assured his constituents of securing federal jobs, appointments and opportunities for them and also enhanced support base for public hospitals and primary health centers.
The Nnewi born aspirant also asserted that an he would enhance community security in his constituency.
The twenty six year aspirant said that he has suffered in life noting that the annoying aspect of life is that many people who suffered after getting to the position of authority normally forget their former estate.
The for Special Assistant (SA) to Sen Ifeanyi Ubah on Grassroot Mobilization said he would never forget how he started in life noting that God has been so good to him and he is ready to appreciate God by giving a quality and responsive representation to his people.
Amb Lotanna who expressed confidence of picking the ADC House of Representatives ticket said he is not going to the House of Representatives to speak grammar but to go and get what rightly belongs to his people for them.
Amb Lotanna, a students unionist said whatever his constituents needed would be made available to them, he however appealed to them to be wewry of unscrupulous politicians with sugar coated mouths.
The ADC House of Representatives hopeful expressed concern that the kind of empowerment programs being carried out by lawmakers from the South West and Northern part's of the country are largely lacking amongst persons representing South East zone.
He declared emphasized that he is the only candidate who has capacity to defeat the APGA and APC candidates in the 2027 House of Representatives election..
Amb Lotanna pointed out that the incumbent member of House of Representatives for Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo LGAs, Hon Peter Uzokwe, has not done anything for the constituents to justify reelection.
The Chairman of the occasion, Chief Ibeookonkwo Michael while drumming support for the ADC House of Representatives aspirant, Amb Lotanna said that he actually came out of retirement to support the aspiration of the youthful prodigy.
Amb Lotanna at the empowered Peaceful Ladies, a women support group with ten million Naira to get land for the group's office.
Highlight of the program included prayer session anchored by Madam Anuligo Ngozi Coordinator of Peaceful Ladies the Coordinator of Peaceful Ladies was made for a successful outting for Amb Lotanna.
