Anambra State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Arch. Okey Ezeobi, has publicly declared that the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) does not exist in the state.
Ezeobi who made the declaration while campaigning for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) at Awkaetiti and Oba Idemili-South Local Government Area during the commissioning ceremonies of road projects constructed by the Idemili-South Mayor Hon. Dr. Mrs. Amaka Obi, described NDC as a whirlwind and urged the people of Awkaetiti and Oba to stand their grounds in the coming national and state assembly elections.
The Commissioner appealed to the people to resist the temptations of collecting N30, 000 or N50,000 to vote for the wrong political parties and their candidates, stressing that the APGA-led state government has met and still meeting expectations of the people.
The Nanka-born architect in Orumba-North Local Government Area of the state, maintained that the NDC still has a case in the Supreme Court and the people shouldn't risk their votes for the party because their fate is yet to be determined by the apex court.
Ezeobi who described APGA as a bird in the hand, drew attention of the people to the presence of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo's administration in Idemili-South Local Government Area, urging them to vote APGA from top to bottom because the party has never disappointed them and doesn't intend to.
He therefore thanked the people of Awkaetiti and Oba communities in anticipation that they would exercise their franchise for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in January and February next year.
