The Member Representing Nnewi North state constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly and Chairman House Committee on Youth Development and Sports; Hon. Sr. Dr. Augustine Onyekachukwu Ike Ikedoji (Mmilimalugo) who moved from the University Classroom as a lecturer to House of Assembly, has declared interest to move forward to the Green Chambers to speak for the good people of Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo federal constituency.
During the declaration meeting to both his ward and local government executives at the weekend in his country home Uruagu Nnewi, the Honourable Member made it clear that he will be the first to win election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State and he will win the contest before 12noon on the election day just as he did during the House Of Assembly election with over twenty thousand votes.
Reacting to the question on the push for Igbo Presidency, Hon. Ikedoji said that the coinage Igbo presidency is a smoke screen but can only come to reality if igbos support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to complete his remaining four years then he can set the ball of South East Presidency rolling and water it until it becomes reality.
The Honourable Member quickly added that Igbos of Southeast extraction wont take four years but eight years and coming to obstruct this administration will give them only four years.
He finally called on his constituents to come out and support Mr. President and his ticket for a greater tomorrow, for ndi Igbo in the Nigerian political landscape.
