Chief Emmanuel Chibuzor Nwachukwu (Onodugo) candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the August 16th bye-elections has assured the people of Anambra-South senatorial district that they will get impactful representation in the Senate, if he is elected.
Nwachukwu who spoke exclusively to this journalist at Orthon Palace hotel Ekwulobia Aguata Local Government Area of the state shortly after his campaign flag-off, said he was going to the Senate to engage in committee discussions and other activities that would be beneficial to Anambra-South senatorial district.
He said Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo made a statement of faith when he said he would go to the Senate to represent the South senatorial zone because such task required someone with content, capacity and resourcefulness to deliver on the people's expectations.
Nwachukwu who hails from Ukpor community in Nnewi-South Local Government Area of the state, recalled that he had contested before but he wasn't given the chance even though it was clear that he had something to offer.
He said this time around he is standing on the shoulder of a giant which he said is the governor and that the people of Anambra-South will know that they have an authentic person who understands the issues and will equally discuss them vigorously at the committee levels of the national assembly.
According to him, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is known for progressive development and good governance as clearly evident in the transformations across Ćnambra state in just three years of the Soludo administration.
He said if elected into the Red Chambers, he would synergize as well as collaborate with Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo to ensure that the people of Anambra-South senatorial district and Ndi-Anambra in general continue to enjoy the dividends of democratic governance and quality representation in the Senate.
