Hon. Paschal Agbodike, the incumbent member representing Ihiala federal constituency at the National Assembly, has emerged candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the next year's national assembly elections.
Also Hon. Jude Chimezie Ngobili the incumbent member representing Ihiala 1 state constituency and Hon. Golden Chukwuebuka Iloh representing Ihiala 2 state constituency have both clinched APGA tickets for next year's state assembly elections respectively.
Speaking to journalists at Ihiala Local Government Secretariat Ihiala shortly after they were declared winners and issued certificates, the federal legislator Hon. Paschal Agbodike who spoke on behalf of his co-legislators from the two state constituencies, expressed gratitude to God for the successful conduct of the primaries.
Agbodike equally thanked the leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) especially men and women of APGA who trooped en masse and declared that they should be returned for second term in office.
He therefore called on all APGA members to also come out in numbers on 16th of January next year to finish the process, noting that primary election is a process towards the main election.
He said that in a very quiet and peaceful manner, they all emerged and that victory is not far-fetched for the general election while thanking all others who participated in the primary election, stressing that APGA is one family.
He thanked the national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa as well as the leadership hierarchy of the party, adding that the victory is for the good of Ihiala federal and state constituencies.
