House of Representatives member representing Ihiala federal constituency at the National Assembly Rt. Hon. Dr. Paschal Arinzechukwu Agbodike has commenced reconstruction of eight buildings at St. Augustine's Community Secondary School Mbosi vandalised by hoodlums during the dark days of insecurity in the area.
Agbodike who had promised that all the twelve buildings in the school destroyed by unknown gunmen would be rebuilt, has started the rebuilding process with eight structures simultaneously; insisting that in no distant time all the buildings would be attended to.
It would be recalled that in the dark days of insecurity, St. Augustine's Community Secondary School Mbosi was attacked by daredevil hoodlums and the buildings destroyed beyond recognition while the students scampered for safety.
Hence, the chairman of Ohaneze Ndigbo Ihiala Local Government chapter, Pastor Azuka Okoli, in a message of gratitude to the federal lawmaker, opined that Agbodike intervened inorder to address the pitiable condition of the school.
Okoli, who is an indigene of Mbosi community, disclosed that St. Augustine's Community Secondary School Mbosi used to be the best secondary school in the entire Anambra-South senatorial district because the school, according to him, has won many awards and laurels, stressing that restoring the school to her lost glory would be most beneficial to not only the people of Mbosi but also to nearby communities like Osumoghu, Isseke, Osu-Ihiteukwa, Ihiala Local Government Area as well as the entire state.
The Ihiala Ohaneze Ndigbo chairman who also disclosed that Agbodike intends to extend rebuilding of vandalised school structures to Community Primary School Mbosi, where four buildings were equally destroyed by daredevil gunmen, maintained that the federal legislator has assured that Mbosi community primary school would receive same attention as St. Augustine's Community Secondary School Mbosi.
Meanwhile this journalist gathered that work has resumed on Ihiala-Orlu road as well as ongoing total reconstruction of Umuogu Okija hall with perimeter fencing, borehole facility and installation of solar lightening system, all being handled by Hon. Paschal Agbodike amongst numerous other projects in the constituency attracted by the House of Representatives member representing Ihiala federal constituency at the green chambers of the National Assembly.
