RAYMOND OZOJI reports
Billionaire business mogul High Chief Hamilton Emeka Ezeonu and his lovely wife Thelma Ezeonu have donated the sum of N10 Million to support Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo's second term reelection campaign.
Ezeonu an illustrious son of Nnobi community in Idemili-South Local Government Area of Anambra state, who holds Ikemba Nnobi special chieftaincy title for his community development efforts and genuine philanthropy, believes that Governor Soludo has done exceedingly well and deserves a second chance in office to consolidate as well as continue on his trajectory of all-around transformation of Anambra state.
Ezeonu who spoke to this journalist at the banquet hall of the new government house (Light House) shortly after a delegation of Nnobi Special Title Holders presented a cheque of N10 Million to the governor in support of his re-election campaigns, said himself and his wife deemed it necessary to also present a token to the governor and join the rest of the citizenry to root for his re-election because he believes that the reward for good work is more work.
Ezeonu who stated that himself and his wife have always supported the governor, maintained that he would mobilise massively for Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo at the grassoots to ensure that the governor win all the three wards in Nnobi community.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of business conglomerates in Lagos Nigeria and the United States of America (USA), noted that Nnobi community is a beneficiary of Soludo's transformative governance because the government, according to him, has partnered individuals through its Public Private Community Partnership Model (PPCP) to refurbish hospitals, construct roads and instituted other infrastructures in Nnobi community.
He also added that as part of his little personal contributions to bringing Nnobi to limelights, he has constructed roads and provided other social amenities that have impacted positively in the lives of Nnobi people.
He however stressed the need for Ndi-Anambra in the diaspora to think home and figure out what they can do to develop their respective communities as modest contributions to growth and development, adding that government required the support of all and sundry in its mission to achieve a liveable and prosperous state because it can not do it alone.
