Nnobi special title holders of Idemili-South Local Government Area of Anambra state led by the Mayor Hon. Dr. Mrs. Amaka Obi (Iyom Ifeabata) have joined hundreds of Ndi-Anambra home and abroad in donating generously to support the re-election campaigns of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo and his Deputy Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim.
The Nnobi special title holders over the weekend amongst other communities, presented a cheque of N10 Million to the governor in solidarity to his second term aspiration and to show him that they deeply appreciated his good works across the state especially in Nnobi community where they jointly concurred that there is government presence in the community.
Idemili-South chairman Hon. Dr. Mrs. Amaka Obi who led Nnobi special title holders delegation to the governor, said that the special title holders led by High Chief Hamilton Ezeonu (Ikemba Nnobi), and Chief Darlington Agha (Ubulueze Oba) have chosen to partner with the Soludo administration to drive meaningful development and progress in Anambra state.
She noted that the special title men of Nnobi including, High Chief Ikemba Nnobi, High Chief Okenwa Nnobi, High Chief Akajiugo Nnobi, High Chief Kpakpando Nnobi, High Chief Ezechikeluba Nnobi; representing the entire Nnobi special title chiefs donated the sum of N10 Million in support of the governor's campaigns while Chief Hamilton Ezeonu (Ikemba Nnobi) and family also donated another N10 Million for the same cause.
She also added that Chief Darlington Agha (Ubulueze Oba) donated twenty thousand dollars all in support of Governor Chukwuma Soludo re-election campaign.
Amaka Obi therefore opined that the visit was a symbolic gesture of solidarity, patriotism and commitment, as the respected stakeholders of Idemili South council area came together to support a vision for progressive change.
She expressed sincere appreciation to the illustrious sons of Idemili South for their thoughtful initiative and also assured them that Idemili South will continue to feel the effect and impact of the solution government.
Meanwhile one of the special title men of Nnobi community High Chief Hamilton Emeka Ezeonu (Ikemba Nnobi) said it was a unanimous decision amongst the special title holders to support the governor's second term reelection.
Ezeonu noted that they came to tell the governor that he doesn't have to worry about winning in Nnobi community because they are 100% behind him and that all the three political wards in Nnobi will be delivered for him on the election day.
