Stakeholders in Idemili-South Local Government Area of Anambra state have unanimously endorsed Dr. Mrs. Amaka Obi's second term ambition as the council chairman.
The stakeholders who expressed a consensus opinion at the maiden cultural carnival organised by the Mayor, said Amaka Obi deserves another term in office because the impact of her administration is being felt in all the nooks and crannies of Idemili-South Local Government Area.
They said that the incumbent Mayor has transformed the council area with her numerous projects and programmes and that the people want her to return again, so she could continue with her transformative governance and life-changing policies.
One of the stakeholders from Nnobi community, High Chief Hamilton Emeka Ezeonu (Ikemba Idemili), said the incumbent Mayor deserves a second term in office because she motivates stakeholders to do more for their respective communities.
Ezeonu who noted that Amaka Obi is the right person for the job, said she carries everyone along and she has to be reelected to enable her finish what she has started.
Another stakeholder in the person of Amb. Dr. Ikechukwu Edwin Azugo (Okenwa Idemili), who also hails from Nnobi community, said it is not contestable that Amaka Obi deserves a second term in office.
Azugo stated that her efforts in infrastructure and other developmental strides in Idemili-South stands her out as the best choice for the chairmanship position of the council area, insisting that Amaka Obi would return again to enable her complete the projects and programmes she has at hand.
Also pioneer chairman of Idemili-South Local Government Area Chief Abasili endorsed her second term reelection, saying that by his assessments, Amaka Obi is doing exceedingly well and that she already has the people's vote of confidence for another term in office.
