The House member representing Onitsha-North 1 state constituency in the 8th legislature of Anambra State, Hon. Barr. Mimi Ifeoma Azikiwe, says her constituents have unanimously passed a vote of confidence and continuity on her which she said reflected in their decision to return her unopposed next year.
Azikiwe who has been very vocal since her inroad into the Anambra State House of Assembly, has made her presence felt through her contributions in legislative proceedings, oversight duties and constituency engagements.
Azikiwe, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in next year's state assembly elections, who is also the House of Assembly Committee Chairman on Women Affairs and Social Welfare as well as Chairman Committee on Law Review and Deputy Chairman Committee on Public Petitions, said she would not betray the trust and confidence reposed in her by the people of Onitsha-North 1 constituency because she is passionate about providing quality and result-centred representation.
She said she came to the House of Assembly with passion and to also leave a legacy in the sands of time,with hope that the people of Onitsha-North 1 will reelect her next year.
