RAYMOND OZOJI reports
Candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the 2027 Anambra-Central senatorial contest and two-time member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo, has stated that he is not afraid of the incumbent senator representing Anambra-Central in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly, Sen. Victor Umeh.
Nwankwo who said he has absolutely no reason to be afraid of Umeh or anyone else, maintained that he has all it takes to perform better than the incumbent, if elected next year.
He said has been to the National Assembly where he spent two terms in the House of Representatives representing Dunukofia, Njikoka and Anaocha federal constituency with verifiable results, adding that his mission to the Red Chambers of the National Assembly was to change the status quo as well as do things differently because Anambra-Central, according to him, is not getting what it truly deserves under the current representative.
The former Reps member reinforced his position that he will not disappoint the people of Anambra-Central if elected because it is what the people need that would be his primary duty and utmost priority, emphasizing that his sojourn to the Senate was to provide lasting solutions to the challenges of development in the senatorial district.
Nwankwo said he was ready for the election next year and he is optimistic that he would get the mandate of the people of Anambra-Central to represent and to vehemently speak for them at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly because he believes very strongly that they deserve better representation and not the current status quo.
