Frontline contender for Anambra-south senatorial seat and chairman of Seahorse Lubricants, Chief Ebuka Onunkwo has declared that he will be announced winner of the Anambra-South senatorial contest scheduled for January 16, 2027.
Onunkwo who is the NDC candidate for the senatorial election next year, told this journalist exclusively in Awka that he has found solace in NDC and that his victory would be announced before 12 noon 16th January next year because he believes the people know what they really want and not the present status quo.
He said he is prepared for the contest and also optimistic of landslide victory because he believes Anambra-South deserves better representation than what they are getting at the moment at the Senate.
Onunkwo said NDC welcomes people with proven capacity and electoral value unlike his former party where capacity is being repelled and suppressed.
Onunkwo who stated that he is happy to be part of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, maintained he is in NDC because the party welcomed him with open arms.
He however reinforced his position that the people will decide and that before 12 o'clock on 16th January 2027, he would be announced winner of the Anambra-South senatorial election.
