2027: Aguata 2 Constituency Deserves Better Representation -- OC Bravo

RAYMOND OZOJI reports

As aspirants anxiously await conduct of the May 23rd APGA primaries, a strong contender for the Aguata 2 state constituency seat, Arc. Okonkwo Chukwuka Williams popularly known as OC Bravo, has once again reinforced his position that Aguata 2 state constituency (Aguata-North) deserves better representation in the next political dispensation.

OC Bravo who was recently screened successfully and cleared by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to participate in the May 23rd party primaries, said Aguata 2 constituency deserves a representative who the people can trust with their mandate as well as repose confidence in, not someone who will shut the door against them after being elected as currently being experienced in the constituency.

He explained that apart from the excruciating experience of the ill-fated representation in the ongoing 8th legislature of Anambra State, he has also drawn attention to the fact that out of the 8 communities in Aguata 2 constituency, only Aguluezechukwu town has not had her turn in the House of Assembly since the creation of man.

OC Bravo therefore appealed to APGA stakeholders and the people of Aguata-North to as a matter of equity and good conscience consider the fact that Aguluezechukwu town is part of Aguata 2 constituency and rally round him as the primary election approaches.

OC Bravo maintained that critical analysis and performance index indicated that nothing is happening in the constituency and that Aguata-North can not remain the way it is as he believes that there is nothing on ground to show that they have a representative in the state legislature even as the incumbent seeks reelection.

Although he said he is optimistic about clinching the APGA ticket for Aguata 2 state constituency election next year, Arc. Okonkwo Chukwuka Williams emphasized the dire need for the people of Aguata-North not to repeat the same  colossal mistake they made before this time because everyone, according to him, is complaining bitterly about the kind of representation they are getting from the current representative.

Okonkwo who stakeholders in Aguata and Aguata-North acknowledged his philanthropic contributions especially in ensuring the growth and advancement of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the area, maintained that if he could be responsible and responsive to their needs as a private person, then he is coming to change the narratives of inhuman and inhumane representation, which he said has done nothing but to plunge the people into perpetual agony and regrets.

The frontline contender who addressed APGA faithful and stakeholders of Aguata-North, assured them of a befitting representation for Aguata 2 state constituency, if they rally round him on Saturday May 23rd at the APGA primaries to enable him win the ticket and emerge as the party's candidate for next year's House of Assembly elections.
