With barely a month to the November 8th Anambra 2025 Governorship Election, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Ihiala Local Government Area has commenced door-to-door sensitizations of voters against what it saw as the antics and activities of deceivers.
Chairman of the Soludo Reelection Campaign Council in Ihiala Local Government Area Rt. Hon. Dr. Paschal Arinzechukwu Agbodike who disclosed it to this journalist in Ihiala, said the team will ensure that the entire Ihiala Local Government rallies round the governor and vote him massively on November 8th this year.
Agbodike who is also the House of Representatives member representing Ihiala federal constituency at the National Assembly, said no other political party is expected to get a single vote in Ihiala Local Government because the governor, according to him, deserves 100% votes from Ihiala people and that victory is assured for the governor.
Also speaking, the State Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and member of the campaign council, Hon. Levi Obiadua, who hails from Uli in Ihiala Local Government Area, observed that it is indeed a new dawn in Ihiala because in the past no political activities or rallies were conducted in the area let alone wearing party uniforms or using branded vehicles.
But presently, according to him, Governor Soludo has restored security in Ihiala Local Government and political rallies are being held without incursions. He said that APGA is sensitising the people; telling them why they should reciprocate the governor's generosity to Ihiala Local Government on November 8th this year and not be deceived by the antics of political merchants.
Hon. Ikem Surplus Ewuzie the State vice chairman APGA Anambra-South senatorial zone and member of the Soludo Reelection Campaign Committee Ihiala Local Government, acknowledged that Ihiala has been rescued from insecurity unlike what obtained in the area about four years ago.
He recalled that it was not possible for any political activity to take place during the 2021 governorship election campaigns but the story, according to him, has changed because the governor has rescued Ihiala from hoodlums troubling the council area.
He equally confirmed that Ihiala is APGA and APGA is Ihiala because they demonstrated it in the August 16th Anambra-South senatorial district by-election and they will make a bolder statement on November 8th that Ihiala is APGA.
Meanwhile Enzo Uzodimma Nzeribe, an indigene of Uli in Ihiala Local Government Area, noted that Ihiala people are happy that the ten towns in the council area have been liberated from the shackles of homegrown terrorists.
Nzeribe maintained that Ihiala people have therefore resolved to deliver the 323 polling units as well as the 20 political wards in Ihiala to Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo in appreciation of his unalloyed commitment to fighting insecurity and restoring a tranquil atmosphere in the area.
