Anambra Poll: Amaka Obi Mobilises Idemili-South For Soludo, Ibezim

RAYMOND OZOJI reports

The only female local government chairman in Anambra State, Hon. Dr. Mrs. Amaka Obi, who is the chairman of Idemili-South council area, has assured Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo and his Deputy Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim that there is no cause for alarm because the entire Idemili-South is for him and his deputy.

Obi who spoke extensively when the governor's campaign train stormed the council headquarters Ojoto on Thursday, declared that there is no controversy whatsoever in the reelection of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo and his Deputy because the entire Idemili-South have resolved to give him 100% votes because Idemili-South is a beneficiary of his disruptive change and transformative governance.

She said that the November 8th governorship election is a time for the people of Idemili-South to pay the governor back; appreciate him as well as reciprocate his monumental transformations across the state, stressing that the infrastructural development, security, women inclusion in governance and a host of others are unprecedented because his administration has surpassed the people's expectations.

The workaholic Mayor noted that the only political party that existed in Idemili-South is the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and the only candidate they know contesting in the Saturday November 8th governorship election is the incumbent governor Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, nothing more, nothing less.

Obi therefore extolled the governor's resilience, stoicism and intrepid disposition in delivering quality governance to Anambra people without borrowing a penny or incurring debts, adding that even when the governor was made an offer to borrow money, he bluntly rejected it and jettisoned the idea.

Obi who noted that Idemili-South Local Government Area and the entire Anambra state were proud of Governor Soludo, maintained that Idemili-South would show the governor undiluted and unconditional love on November 8th this year because they are prepared to vote him beyond his imaginations.

She therefore reiterated the fact that there is no controversy in the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo because according to her, there is no opposition in Idemili-South Local Government Area.
