The Managing Director of the Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (OCHA-Brigade) and Convener of the Solution Marshals, Chief Celestine Afam Anere says Anambra-Central senatorial district is taking Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo's second term reelection very serious and personal judging from the zone's recent endorsement rally in Awka.
Anere who spoke to HEADLINE NEWS exclusively, said that the massive turnout of real APGA faithful at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square Awka for ratification and endorsement of the governor, showed that Anambra-Central is ready to deliver the governor 100% in all the seven local government areas of the senatorial district.
Anere said they are not interested in what other political parties are doing but the fact remains that Anambra-Central will vote massively for Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on November 8th this year to actualise his second term aspiration because he believes very strongly that Anambra is APGA land and that anything on the contrary is null and void.
Anere who hails from Amawbia Awka-South Local Government Area of the Anambra-Central senatorial district noted that those who attended the recent endorsement rally at Ekwueme Square Awka were core APGA members from grassroots units of the party and not borrowed or rented crowd as seen in other political rallies.
He said, " They are core APGA members from each unit of APGA in the central. It is not even all of them; just a few selected from units. Then, when you talk of the North and South senatorial zones, you know that Anambra is APGA land."
The OCHA-Brigade boss reiterated the fact that they would take the November 8th governorship election seriously as well as contest for every vote with hope that they would win with a landslide victory.
He also added that Solution Marshals will be in every polling unit to make sure that the votes count.
